Discipline: Croquet
Singles, Two Balls is an individual croquet format in which each player controls two balls rather than one. The additional ball creates more tactical possibilities for positioning, hoop progress, and shot selection during match play.
At Paris 1900, the event was held on successive Saturdays, with round one on 4 July and round two on 11 July at the Cercle du Bois de Boulogne. Six competitors are confirmed to have played, while Marcel Haëntjens and Marie Ohier may also have participated in the first round.
Unlike the one-ball singles event, the available results are recorded as head-to-head matches. The second round appears to have been a four-player round robin, with the matches played as best-of-three. Chrétien Waydelich won the title, Maurice Vignerot finished second, and Jacques Sautereau placed third.
