All-Around is a gymnastics event in which athletes are ranked by their combined performance across multiple exercises or apparatus. At Paris 1900, the all-around format was broader than the modern event, combining apparatus work with athletic-style tests such as jumping, pole vault, rope climbing, and weightlifting.
